Depth of field

This photo has a large depth of field. The main focus is the ship. This photo shows large depth of field because it is a crisp picture. The photographer was probably trying to show detail.
This photo has a large depth of field. The main focus is the cute cows being cute. This picture is crisp so its a large depth of field. The photographer was trying to show how cute cows are :3.
This is a large depth of field. The main focus im gonna guess is the size of the shark, that's why theres a diver to show the difference. The picture is clean and clear so its large depth of field. The photographer was trying to show the size of the shark.
This photo has a shallow depth of field. The main focus is the mushrooms. I think this shows shallow depth of field because the background is blurry. The photographer was probably trying to make it feel eerie or ambient.
This photo has a shallow depth of field. The main focus is the purple flower. I think this is shallow because its blurry. The photographer might be trying to make the picture give the viewer a calm feeling.
This photo has a shallow depth of field. The main focus is the adorable bunny. Its shallow because of the blur in the background. The photographer might just be trying to make the picture look interesting by changing it a bit.

End Of The World

I would want soap to survive the end of the world. When i am running around killing zombies i might get a little sweaty. Sweat makes people smelly, which i don't like. So what do i need? Soap!!!
That way i can deal with my smell.
I cant kill zombies alone since im only 5 feet tall and weigh as much as a very large bag of potatoes. To help me i would need my chunker muffin baby bear Oso. He could chase and bite zombies and could warn me when im about to be killed. Also when i get scared or cold i could just cuddle with him and play with his neck fat.
You cant kill zombies without having some awesome background music. So my iPod loaded with some great battle metal will make me and oso feel super amazing while we do our thing. Plus, life is boring without music, and we cant afford to be bored. Boredom causes laziness, and that means death.

Panning

  • Where were you when you took this picture? This picture was taken in front of the school
  • What problems did you have prior to getting this specific shot? The problem was getting them to stay in focus
  • Why was this shot the best representation of the Skill? Because there are to people running, the background is blurry, and they are in pretty good focus.
  • What settings did you try before getting this shot (and why did they not work for you?) I used TV and it worked the whole time.
  • What could be improved in this picture? They could be in better focus

Shutter Speed Exercises

This picture was taken under the umbrellas. A problem i had before taking the picture was trying to get it to not be white. This shot works because i caught them in the air and its a clear shot. I used TV to get the picture to be clear. The background and the clearness of the picture could be improved.
This picture was taken next to the umbrellas. I didn't have any problems taking this picture. This shot is good because you see them both running, there isn't blur, and you can see their shadows. I used TV on this shot to make sure they don't blur. This background could be improved.
This picture was taken in front of the office. The problem i had in this picture was getting the grass that tori was throwing in the frame, because she has the arm of a beast. This shot is good because you see that tori threw the grass and its clear. I used TV to make sure that the grass wasn't blurred. Something that could be improved in this picture is being able to see the grass better.
This picture is in front of the office again. The problem i had was getting her to run fast enough to blur. This shot is good because she is blurred and the background is clear. Again i used TV to make sure she DOES blur. The brightness could be improved.
This picture was next to the umbrellas. A problem i had was trying to figure out what to take a picture of. This shot is good because the arm is blurred while the background is in focus. This shot i used TV to focus on everything. The background is pretty plain so that could be improved.

Framing

I think this photo works because the thing being framed is the foot and everything just looks cool.
This works because im framing my friend Adam and it actually looks like im holding him
This works because the plants are framing the ground in the background
This worked perfect because there was a hole in the middle of the bush.
This is good because it looks like a little mouse hole and it frames the inside.
This picture works because the chicken is being framed by the chair.

The hardest thing about this project was find things to frame or to find things that were framed. I'm not sure if i really overcame it but i did try hard to find things to take pictures of.

Patterns

Natural
The tree is the well picture, I think my close up pictures come out pretty clear and i really like doing them.
 Man-Made

Improve
The flash went off while i was taking the picture and i really don't like how the middle looks bright. I liked the way the edges looked and wanted the whole picture to look like that.

For the next project my goal is to get pictures that actually follow the guidelines that look great and name all the pictures correctly.

Angles

ABOVE

 BELOW

 STRAIGHT
I think this photo with the plant is the strongest. I think that because i just love the way it came out, its may favorite picture out of the ones i took.
 COMPOSITION

This picture uses leading lines. I thought it would be a good idea to get the words in the picture. So what i did was sit Frodo (the ball) on the bench to chill while i got on my knees and put the camera on the bench to catch the picture.
IMPROVE
This photo needs improvement because its blurry and very bright. I could use photoshop to tone down the brightness and i could focus my camera more next time.

The most challenging thing about this assignment was finding good places to place Frodo and make him look like he was actually a person going on an adventure. I don't know if the viewer can tell i tried to bring him to life but i feel like i did.
